Tidepooling....

I took the kids to Town Neck Beach the other day at low tide. We had not gone tidepooling this summer yet so I thought it would be a good way to get out of the house for a few hours.

When we first moved to this area 3 years ago we would go down at low tide and see starfish, crabs and tons of other critters out in these tidepools. When we went last week I was disappointed to see that there were no starfish and it appeared all the critters that we usually view were gone. We did find tons of crabs though! The kids had a good time but I kept asking myself, "Where did everything go"?
