Happiness

Today was the "International Day of Happiness!" I had never heard of this day until this morning when I was sitting in the kitchen eating my breakfast.  I honestly find it silly that there is a day for everything.  This morning though when I was reading the news on my phone and found out about the International Day of Happiness it made me question, "What makes me happy?" I thought back quickly to this past week, to this past month, to where I am at this year and all the things that make me happy.

Cheers to Happiness...here are some of mine!

-Gently waking my daughter up each morning and asking her the same question I do every day as she rises from her slumber.  "How was your sleeping time?"

-Getting text from my Trav during the day.

-A good cup of coffee in my own home with frothed milk on a Saturday morning.  

-Waking up to sunshine after days and days of rain.

-Walking through bookstores.

-Talking to my parents on the phone, listening to what they have been doing and trying to envision them in my mind. 

-Watching my husband fix our Macbook after I have spilled my glass of wine on it.

-A good glass of wine.

-Listening to my son belly laugh about stupid shows that he loves.

-Thinking fondly on days gone by with my Mema and Papa.

-Talking about the future with my Trav.

-Honestly, any time I get with my Trav...running, walking, snuggling, cooking, etc.  

-Looking at pictures of my children when they were babies.

-Planning vacations!  This year to my parents house in Washington and Maui.

-A good quality lotion that smells good and makes my hands feel good.

-Sea Glass and beachcombing.

-A good book!

-A nice, organized, clean house.

-Hearing birds chirp and sing on a spring day.

-Getting in my car to head home after a long day of work.  

-Holding hands

-Sunsets....anywhere!

-Watching Impractial Jokers with my family.

-Walking through a Whole Foods.

-This park in the pictures below.  Such a most beautiful place.
