What a difference a season makes...

I looked out my kitchen window the other morning and as always I have to look at my hummingbird feeder. It's habit now! So when I saw it on that morning I had to chuckle. This looks like the most unfriendly bird feeder ever. In late spring my little feathered friends come and stay with us until fall. In the winter though, birds are few and far between. We barely hear them chirp let alone see them.

So, as much as I love winter I do enjoy seeing my little birds feeding from the feeders. I have missed them these last few months. What a difference a season can make. As much as i hope my little hummingbird friends enjoy my backyard, I have to image they are enjoying their South American vacation that they migrated to. I know I would!!!
