Happiness....

For me happiness comes from big things like vacations or military transfer to the west coast (hehe), but happiness also comes from small things. Everyday things.

Here are some small things that have made me happy in the last couple of days.

~Taylor trying to master the art of winking....


~The new shaggy rug Travis bought me for the living room. If you could put your bare feet on it and wiggle your toes around you would be happy too!


~Placing potted flowers next to our Coastie Gnome. Isn't he the cutest. My cousin Pam bought him for Trav in honor of making the cut to promote to Chief.


~Placing my hummingbird feeders out. The Costa Humminbird should be arriving back to the Cape any time now.


~The bike rack loaded up and ready for summer.



The only thing today that makes me sad is....Today May 21, 2011

Today is the last day that my little boy will ever be 8 years old again. I can't even believe so many years have already flown by. I wish I could have him be that little, bitty baby that was handed to me so many years ago. He is growing taller and smarter by the day. My heart hurts because I know pretty soon my almost 9 year old will be turning 18 and I will still be lost for where the time went.
