Another weekend in Maine

We ventured back up to Maine this past weekend for a camping trip at Sebago Lake. What a gorgeous area it was. Maine is as I have mentioned before probably our favorite state in the New England area. The weather was perfect for camping, cool days and chilly, blustery nights were spent huddled around our campfire with good friends. It was a really nice getaway and we were able to enjoy a little bit of the early stages of the fall foliage. This is truly my favorite season here in New England and I just can't say enough about the beauty that happens here. The kids had a great time playing with friends and getting away. The only downside was that we were not able to put the canoe into the lake because the blustery days made for chopping conditions. Hopefully next time! As always we love our trusty camper and are sad to say that this was our final camping trip of the year. We will be winterizing her and letting her rest before we break her out next spring. She suffered a little, minor damage this past weekend that left us stranded at a Cabelas store for close to 5 hours (No love loss there for my son of course).

Sissy was pooped after a weekend of camping and spending hours upon hours in the Cabelas store. A girl can only take so much and then she needs a little R&R.
