Nothing Much...

14 April 2009

Well Easter is over and I have included a picture of the kids from that morning. This year the Easter Bunny went with a "Stationary" theme. Both kids got new pencils, erasers, gel pens and a little bit of candy. The big ticket item this year was a hit. Courtesy of the big, furry guy the kids are the proud owners of an electric pencil sharpener. I think every pencil we own has been sharpened to a fine tip and they love it. I am so glad to have two little ones who are thrilled by the small things in life. When I say it doesn't take much to make them happy, I mean it.

The other photos are from Trav's flight to Boston today. It was what he would consider a "Boring Old Patrol" but I am always curious as to what things look like when he is flying. He dearly misses flying in Alaska. He says this place is very, very flat and he misses the mountains and coastlines up there. I always tell him that flying up in Alaska ruined him because nothing will ever compare. In any event, it could be worse...He could be riding a desk in a cubicle and I know he would be miserable doing that. He knows this is true and is happy and willing to get out of the shop and into the helicopter whenever the opportunity arises.

Well, my next post will probably after we return from Boston this weekend. The marathon is just days away and we are anxious to get Todd and Daddy Doug here and celebrate when Trav comes across the finish line at the 113th Boston Marathon. Until then, Happy Spring and we love you all.
